Suffolk Coast Acting for Resilience

SCAR (Suffolk Coast Acting for Resilience) is a forum for representatives from coastal communities along the East Anglian coast.

Based on the principles of proactive, independent and objective participation, SCAR aims to exert a clear, constructive and measured influence on the management of the Suffolk coastline and estuaries.

In fulfilling this role SCAR members will seek to work in partnership with statutory authorities, organisations and community representatives to monitor, scrutinize and respond to information, proposals and policy affecting the coast.
