SCAR is a forum for representatives from coastal communities on the Suffolk coast.
The Forum examines coastal issues, shares information and pools knowledge in order to deliver SCAR’s agreed aims and objectives.
Our aim is to manage and protect, for future generations, the Suffolk coastline, tidal rivers and surrounding areas
From Great Yarmouth to Felixstowe
In fulfilling this role, SCAR members will work with statutory authorities, organisations and community representatives to monitor, scrutinise and respond to information, proposals and policy affecting the coast.
